We celebrated our anniversary at this beautiful restaurant and the tasting menu dinner was absolutely fantastic. My partner and I ordered the opposite choices so we could try everything on the menu and every dish was exciting. The seafood course stood out with a snapper on paella rice and a grilled octopus, as well as the perfectly cooked steak that followed and the unique foie gras creme brulee. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming and the space is charming. We enjoyed the night so much that after dinner we stopped for another drink at their bar. Before leaving we walked into their little boutique of jewelry and art. The neighborhood is also beautiful and has several galleries, couple of blocks from the beach. This was a wonderful experience and we would love to come back next time in PV.
I tried the Chef's tasting menu with Garden experience and it was amazing. With this option you have a 6 course meal with 2 of which to choose for each course which was perfect since it was my first time here. Dinner comes with a basket of breads sorted with different flavors and textures accompanied by two butters. You may also get a few extras as compliments from the chef (I received two: a starter and a small bite for my espresso) something You are assigned 2 waiters who work well as a team to deliver a delightful experience, I had the pleasure of being waited by Luis & Rodolfo. I will certainly be back to try more from their menu.

This place is not a restaurant. It’s an experience, so be prepared! Starting with the absolutely gorgeous decor that will literally leave you speechless. Continuing with the attentive, professional yet very friendly service. And ending with the artwork, I mean the food dishes... which are really more like art than anything else. Many interesting flavors and ingredients that the waiter explained to us for each dish. We spent about two hours there and left feeling elated, satisfied and inspired. Highly recommended.
Wonderful experience! My husband got the tasting menu with wine pairings and I did sea bass and the new chocolate tart. It was all unique and delicious. The pork belly and ravioli were fantastic! Definitely one of the top two restaurants in town alongside Capelle.
Absolutely gorgeous evening atmosphere, the restaurant is built around a few trees and the table settings were impeccable. The lighting was done really well. There is live music that travels from table to table. The food is delicious and the portion sizes were excellent. We highly enjoyed date night here!
Fantastic experience. Really great food (had the tasting menu with the wine pairing, one regular one and one time the vegetarian menu was adjusted to vegan). Every single dish was fantastic, a little unique and creative, and fun and tasty to eat. The staff was very attentive without being overbearing, left plenty of time to eat but always made us felt being taken care off. The timing food came was impeccable for a great date night. The atmosphere of the entire place was joyful, it looks very different depending where you sit which is great fun. A fantastic dining experience.
Some other mighty fine restaurants we know in Vallarta are going to have to move over as Cafe des Artistes moves to the top. The outstanding food, innovative presentation, exceptional service (thanks Adam), lovely music, and stunningly beautiful garden setting all contributed to a perfect evening. Guess others would agree with us since there were 14 birthday celebrations while we were there.
